My Grand-daughter who lives with us is going away for a couple of days on a school trip.
My wife and I decided we would take advantage of this and go away for a romantic break somewhere.
We had lengthy discussions about where we should go but in the end she said I could choose the destination, but said it would be nice to go somewhere where we haven't been before.

The only condition was that it was not to involve airports.
Last time I booked a trip I took her plane spotting to London Heathrow Airport!

So anyway, today we are going to Burton-Upon-Trent in Staffordshire.
"What's up there"? I hear you ask, as my wife did.

It is home to the National Brewery Centre & Museum!

I am looking forward to it and my wife is taking her Kindle.
